Django says: "I am a web framework for perfectionist with deadlines", so is a framework for men with hair in their chest, not a toy to newbies. If the overwhelming size of django matters, use Bottle or Flask, but the scalability and the simplicity of Django as framework is enough strong. If you want to make a django-flasky project, just go to microdjango are you are done!
